Late last year, the University of the West of England unveiled a striking new mural at Frenchay Campus, transforming the window space of Student Ventures into a vibrant visual story. The goal? To draw attention to the space, share the journey of Student Ventures, and add a burst of colour to the heart of the campus.

Art Sync, a Bristol-based mural agency, worked closely with UWE to design and deliver a custom mural that aligned with the university’s strict branding guidelines. With UWE recently updating its colour palette, it was essential that the mural reflected this fresh visual identity.

To bring the vision to life, Art Sync collaborated with talented local artist Rosalyn Burroughs.

Using our tailored creative brief, Rosalyn created a colourful, eye-catching design that visually tells the story of Student Ventures, from its community driven roots to the growth opportunities it provides students.

We ensured that the mural was produced to the highest standard, partnering with the Print Works to use premium materials. The design was printed on a one-way vision material, allowing those inside the space to enjoy natural light while maintaining privacy.

The Student Ventures mural represents the journey every student takes within the programme. It begins with the early stages of networking, where students connect through the community. Once involved, Student Ventures helps members grow as individuals and professionals, climbing the ladder to new opportunities. Finally, the journey leads to the next chapter, whether that’s launching a business, joining a creative project, or stepping into a dream career.

For Art Sync and Student Ventures, this mural is more than just art, it’s a statement of identity, growth, and opportunity. Standing proudly at Frenchay Campus, it’s a constant reminder of the incredible journeys that begin here.
